Picture Prattle: Wanderlust

16 Oct

I’ve had a bit of an itch to travel lately so I started browsing some old photo albums and came across this picture below. Taken in Rome in spring of 2008… isn’t it beautiful? My trip to Rome was a delightful excursion with a dear friend from college. Five days of history, art, beautiful piazzas and delicious pizzas. What more could you want?

Taken before crossing over from the main part of Rome to Trastevere

This next picture was taken on the same day in one of Rome’s many public squares. The performer on the left was highly admired by the lady on the right, who applauded throughout his show. Once he finished, she tried to give him a hug. His response was to run away… so she chased him. Hilariousness ensued.

The real show came when the performer ended his act

And, of course, I have dozens and dozens of photos of food from that trip. From gelato to cookies to giant plates of pasta like the one right here.

Mmm. Voglio tornare in Italia!
